How does AmericanAncestors.org differ from other genealogy websites?

We have 230 databases that are unique to our website and are unavailable on other genealogical websites. You can view a list of these unique databases here.  You can also view a full listing of all of our databases here.  Additionally, we are also unique in having a full staff of genealogists who are available to perform research-for-hire, and who are also available to answer reference questions via our free Ask-a-Genealogist chat service.  We also produce original scholarship, including original publications and study projects, which can be viewed here.
